Welcoming Seattle University Students to Northaven
Over the next month and a half, now through March 15, Northaven is excited to welcome students from Seattle University who are enrolled in a Counseling Across Generations course. During their time with us, these students will be spending time throughout the building, getting to know our residents and experiencing firsthand what makes Northaven such a special community. Volunteer Fair Returns This January
For Northaven campus residents, January marks an important and exciting tradition: choosing a volunteer role for the year ahead. With more than 80 volunteer opportunities available across campus, finding the right fit can feel overwhelming—so we make it easy with our annual Volunteer Fair. Hearing Changes Info and Support Group Dates Set
Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in a new Information and Support Group focused on hearing changes and hearing loss here at Northaven. We’re pleased to share that the first session has now been scheduled. The inaugural meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 10 at 2:00 pm in the library. Free Basic Wills for Eligible Seniors
Senior Rights Assistance at Sound Generations has reopened its lottery for free basic wills, offering seniors a meaningful opportunity to take care of important life-planning at no cost. The lottery is open from November 11 through 24. If your name is selected, you’ll be scheduled for an in-person appointment with a Sound Generations attorney between January and June 2026 to complete your will.
