Residents and Staff Are Invited to Share Their Talents
Northaven’s 4th Annual ArtsWalk will take place on Friday, October 2, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. This special afternoon will bring residents and staff together to celebrate the creativity, talent, and stories found throughout the Northaven community.
Why “ArtsWalk”?
We call this event ArtsWalk, rather than Art Walk, because creativity takes many forms. Some members of our community have considered themselves artists throughout their lives and have exhibited their work over the years. Others create beautiful, imaginative things but may have never thought to call themselves artists. ArtsWalk is a chance to recognize and celebrate them all.
We invite artwork in any medium that can be safely and practically displayed in our space. More importantly, the event gives artists an opportunity to share the stories behind their creations—and gives the rest of us a chance to discover talents we may not have known were right here at Northaven.
Interested in Participating?
Participation is open to residents and staff from all four Northaven buildings. All artistic mediums will be considered, depending on the practical limitations of the display space.
A signup sheet will be available soon, giving participants approximately six weeks to prepare their work for the show. If you have questions about whether your creation can be displayed, please speak with Ginger or Annie Christensen.

Whether you plan to share something you have created or simply want to enjoy the work of your neighbors and Northaven staff, we hope you will join us for an afternoon filled with talent, beauty, and community connection.
Please note that artwork may not be sold during ArtsWalk. Anyone interested in purchasing a piece may make private arrangements with the artist following the event. Mark your calendar and join us as we celebrate the many ways creativity comes to life at Northaven!
