Executive Director
Darlene Storti

 

Darlene’s passion is to create a healthy, active, and engaged community for all ages. Since beginning her career in long-term care at Northaven, Darlene has worked as the Assistant Administrator, the Director of Assisted Living and currently as Executive Director of Northaven Senior Living. Darlene has served on the Board of Directors of LeadingAge Washington as Secretary, Chair and Past Chair. She has also served on the national LeadingAge Public Policy Congress for Affordable Housing and on the LeadingAge Task Force for Assisted Living Programs. Darlene has represented LeadingAge Washington on the Governor’s Task Force for Assisted Living, served on the Washington State Boarding Home Advisory Council for Long-Term Care She has Chaired the Assisted Living and Senior Living and Community Services (facilitating partnerships in the advancement of senior housing and community services) committees for LeadingAge of Washington. She is a former coach and mentor for the LeadingAge of Washington Leadership Institute. Her passion is to create a healthy, active, engaged community for all ages. Darlene holds a bachelor’s degree from Evergreen State College. Darlene resides in Kirkland with her husband Peter.

Casey McCoy

 

Casey works with both independent and assisted living communities at Northaven to ensure that day-to-day processes are supported. He joined the Northaven team in January 2020 after working for 17 years as a project manager in the litigation support field and helping to start two small businesses. Transitioning to a more personally rewarding career in senior healthcare, Casey began his career in skilled nursing, working within all departments as part of an Administrator In-Training program. As Director of Operations, Casey collaborates with residents and staff to sustain existing programs while identifying and implementing new areas of growth. He is dedicated to championing Northaven’s mission of personal care, bringing passion and energy to guide the community's core values. Casey believes that every day presents an opportunity to learn, grow, and share. Casey holds a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University and enjoys spending time with his family. He also coaches his two boys’ youth sports teams.

Assisted Living Clinical Services Director
Kinga Nagy

Kinga is a Registered Nurse who holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois, Chicago, a nationally recognized Certification in Clinical Nurse Leadership (CNL) and an internationally recognized Certification in Infection Control (CIC). Prior to being part of the Northaven team, Kinga has worked in different hospital settings with the elderly population, which inspired her to work in long-term care. Since 2019, she has joined a non-profit Continuing Care Resident Community as the Assistant Director of Nursing/Infection Preventionist in their Skilled Nursing department and then she was promoted as the Director of Nursing in their Assisted Living and Memory Care department. She stated: “Being with our residents on a daily basis is where I see myself making the biggest difference and the most positive impact on their care.” Kinga believes that nursing is a work of the heart, and she is looking forward to serving the Northaven Community in this new capacity as the Assisted Living Clinical Director. Originally from Romania, she has lived in the US for 20 years. Kinga also fluently speaks four languages: Romanian, Hungarian, Spanish, and English and lives in Seattle with her two children and her husband, Alex. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, traveling, and walking around Green Lake.

Food Services Director
Christopher Manio

With over 25 years of experience in senior living, Chris Manio has dedicated his career to enhancing the dining experience for seniors. Since starting as a server in 1999, Chris has worked his way up through the ranks—from dishwasher to prep cook, and ultimately to his current role as Food Service Director. His hands-on approach and deep understanding of all aspects of food service make him an invaluable asset to Northaven Senior Living. Chris holds a degree in Culinary Arts from North Seattle College and is an alumnus of the Leading Age Leadership Institute, which has further strengthened his commitment to leadership in the senior living industry. His open-door policy fosters a welcoming environment for both staff and residents, as he actively seeks feedback to continuously improve the dining experience. Always open to new ideas, Chris encourages menu suggestions and is willing to try anything at least once to ensure the highest quality meals for residents. As Food Service Director, Chris plans and oversees the meals for Northaven Independent Living, Northaven Assisted Living, Northaven West, and The Nook. He considers both his staff and residents an extension of his family, building strong relationships that make for a warm and supportive atmosphere. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends.
