Northaven Resident Council Launches GoFundMe Fundraiser

Community support will help strengthen transportation, food access, and services for Northaven residents. The Northaven Resident Council has launched a GoFundMe fundraiser, inviting families, friends, and community supporters to help fund important programs serving Northaven seniors.
The campaign page includes two videos and information about how donations will be used. Every contribution matters, and a little support from many donors can make a meaningful difference.
Why Is Additional Support Needed?
Like many senior living communities across the country, Northaven faces increasing financial pressures. Inflation continues to raise the cost of food, supplies, maintenance, utilities, and transportation. Possible future reductions in Medicaid funding could also affect Assisted Living services and place additional strain on available resources.
Three Areas Your Donation Will Support:
Keeping the Northaven Bus on the Road
Funds will help cover needed maintenance and repairs so residents can continue accessing shopping, appointments, outings, and community activities.
Expanding the Friday Free Food Pantry
Donations will help provide more protein-rich foods, fresh fruits, and vegetables for Northaven residents.
Supporting Assisted Living Residents
Funds will help address possible Medicaid funding shortfalls while providing hygiene products, craft materials, and other useful supplies.
Help Us Spread the Word
Supporters can help by donating or sharing the fundraiser with family and friends through email, Facebook, and other social media platforms. Even if you are unable to contribute, sharing the campaign may help it reach someone who can.
