Over the next month and a half, now through March 15, Northaven is excited to welcome students from Seattle University who are enrolled in a Counseling Across Generations course. During their time with us, these students will be spending time throughout the building, getting to know our residents and experiencing firsthand what makes Northaven such a special community.
Learning Together Across Generations
The visiting students will be joining residents in a variety of activities and programs, including Handcrafters, Resident Council, Seated Volleyball, and other gatherings happening around Northaven. Their goal is simple and meaningful: to participate alongside our community, learn from residents, and observe the connections, traditions, and everyday moments that define life at Northaven.
A Warm Welcome Goes a Long Way
This partnership offers a wonderful opportunity to share our stories, laughter, and sense of belonging. Residents are encouraged to help make our visitors feel welcome and included in whatever activity or group they choose to join. A friendly greeting, an invitation to sit down, or a quick explanation of how an activity works can make all the difference.
What Makes Northaven Shine
Northaven has always been a place rooted in kindness, connection, and community. As we welcome these students, we’re proud to share what makes our home so special and to invite them to experience it alongside us.
Thank you for helping extend the warmth and hospitality that make Northaven such a remarkable place to live.
