Volunteer with Northaven at St. Francis House

Join us Wednesday, July 29, for a meaningful day of service, connection, and community.

Northaven residents are invited to volunteer at St. Francis House in Seattle on Wednesday, July 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This is a wonderful opportunity to give back, connect with others, and make a positive difference for people in need throughout the Seattle area.

About St. Francis House

Established in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Francis House serves people in need while inspiring simplicity and charity among its volunteers and those they assist.

Approximately 13,000 people across King County are experiencing homelessness, including men, women, children, veterans, and people living with mental illness. Thousands of working families throughout the Seattle area are also struggling to make ends meet. St. Francis House helps provide essential support while treating every person with hope, dignity, and compassion.

How Volunteers Will Help

Northaven volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks at the facility, which may include:

  • Sorting donated goods

  • Hanging and organizing clothing

  • Serving food

  • Helping with additional projects as needed

No special experience is required—just a willingness to help and a positive attitude!

Space Is Limited—Sign Up Today

Due to the size of the facility, this volunteer opportunity is limited to 10 participants. Please sign up using the volunteer sheet located next to the Front Desk.

Because space is limited, we ask residents to register only if they can commit to attending. This helps ensure that Northaven can provide reliable support to St. Francis House.

We hope you will join us for a rewarding day of service, fellowship, and community. Together, we can make a meaningful difference, one act of kindness at a time.
