One of Northaven’s favorite outings is back!
Join us September 23 for a scenic Waterways Cruise, lunch on board, and a relaxing afternoon seeing Seattle from the water.
On Wednesday, September 23, residents are invited to join us for another Seattle Lakes & Lunch Cruise aboard Waterways Cruises. This will be Northaven’s sixth trip, and it remains a favorite way to see the city from an entirely different perspective.
The bus will depart Northaven at approximately 10:30 a.m., with the cruise running from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and a planned return around 2:00 p.m.
Along the way, we’ll glide past Seattle’s colorful floating homes, historic wooden boats, busy marinas, sailboats, kayaks, and seaplanes, while passing beneath iconic drawbridges and taking in familiar neighborhoods and campuses from the water.
This year, we’ll be aboard the Sightseer, a different vessel from last year’s cruise, and lunch will feature a Gourmet Taco Bar.
The boat can accommodate walkers, but scooters are not permitted. Restrooms are available on board, although there are no restrooms at the dock. Most residents enjoy the scenery comfortably from their lunch seats, and those able to manage a few stairs may also visit the covered upper-deck lounge.
Reserve Your Spot Early
At $80 per person, this is one of Northaven’s more special outings, so we’re opening signup early to give residents plenty of time to plan.
A $25 deposit is required at signup to reserve your space. Payment may be made by cash or check payable to Northaven.
