Free Basic Wills for Eligible Seniors

Senior Rights Assistance at Sound Generations has reopened its lottery for free basic wills, offering seniors a meaningful opportunity to take care of important life-planning at no cost.

The lottery is open from November 11 through 24. If your name is selected, you’ll be scheduled for an in-person appointment with a Sound Generations attorney between January and June 2026 to complete your will.

To qualify, you must be 55 or older, meet the income guidelines (under $3,913/month for individuals, $5,288/month for couples), and fall within the asset limits (under $150,000 for individuals, $200,000 for couples).

A full list of eligibility criteria is posted on the bulletin board near the sign-up sheets and in the OV Room.

This program has helped many in our community—every eligible applicant received a free will in the last lottery. If you’ve been thinking about putting your wishes in writing, this is a wonderful chance to do so with trusted support.
