If you have Humana Insurance—or recently enrolled in a new Humana plan for 2026—please take note of an important change that may impact your access to care.
Beginning in 2026, Humana will no longer be in-network with the following major providers:
UW Medicine
Harborview Medical Center
Optum (formerly The Polyclinic / Everett Clinic)
Western Washington Cardiologists
Fred Hutch
This is breaking news, and many people enrolled in Humana early in the Open Enrollment period before these network changes were announced. If your preferred doctors or clinics are on this list, your coverage and access to care may be affected next year.
The good news: You still have time to make a change—but only until December 7th, the end of Medicare Open Enrollment.
