Hearts of Northaven Gala 2026 Raises Over $100,000

Updated: May 28

On Friday, May 8, supporters of Northaven Senior Living gathered for An Evening in Full Bloom, the 2026 Hearts of Northaven Gala. Together, the evening raised over $100,000 to support programs and services that enrich the lives of Northaven residents.

The garden party–themed event brought guests together for an evening of food, music, and giving in support of a community that has served low-income seniors in North Seattle for more than 50 years.

Gee Scott served as emcee for the evening, and guests enjoyed live music from Michael Powers. Resident Patricia Lass shared her story with the room, offering a firsthand look at what Northaven means to the people who live here.

This year's Bob & Joyce Mays Award for Service to Northaven was presented to Gordon Thomson, recognizing his ongoing dedication to our residents and our mission. We are grateful for everything Gordon contributes to this community.

We also want to thank our sponsors, whose support made the evening possible, including BECU as our Gold Sponsor and Jana W. Helmuth, CPA, returning as our Crystal Heart Sponsor.

To everyone who attended, bid, donated, and gave their time to make this year's gala a success: thank you. The funds raised will go directly toward the programs, services, and daily care that help our residents thrive.

We hope to see you again next year.
