Northaven is thrilled to welcome Glamour Gals, a fun and friendly group of high school students who love connecting with residents through creativity, conversation, and care. This intergenerational program is all about simple joys—nail painting, games, puzzles, laughter, and new friendships.
Beginning October 18, Glamour Gals will visit every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the OV Room. Each visit focuses on creating a space where residents can unwind, enjoy a touch of pampering, and share stories with the next generation. Whether you’d like a fresh coat of nail polish or just a cheerful chat, you’ll find both in abundance!
In addition to the pampering and fun, Glamour Gals also offer basic tech help for anyone needing a little extra guidance. Bring your smartphone, tablet, or laptop, and these students will happily walk you through how to send photos, join video calls, or navigate your favorite apps.
This program is more than just manicures—it’s about connection and community. It’s a reminder that a little bit of glam can go a long way in brightening someone’s day. Residents are invited to drop by, meet these wonderful volunteers, and enjoy an easygoing morning filled with smiles, color, and conversation.
All are welcome—no sign-up required! Just come to the OV Room, pull up a chair, and enjoy a Saturday of good company and good cheer.
