A Ride to the Ballot Box: October 27
Northaven residents can take the bus to return their ballots one week before Election Day. Departure time will be announced later this month.

With Election Day coming up on Tuesday, November 3, Northaven is helping residents plan ahead. On Tuesday, October 27, the bus will take residents to drop off their ballots at the Northgate Library ballot drop box, the nearest one to Northaven. King County ballots are scheduled to be mailed on October 14, 20 days before the election. Once yours arrives, take time to review your choices and follow the instructions included with your ballot.
Returning Your Ballot
You can return your completed ballot through USPS or place it in an official ballot drop box. If you choose to mail it, no postage is required, and USPS recommends sending it at least one week before Election Day. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by November 3. An official drop box provides a direct way to return your ballot without relying on mail delivery; drop boxes close at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
For residents who prefer the drop box option, the October 27 trip offers a convenient opportunity to return their ballots early. The departure time will be determined later in the month, so please watch for that update.
If Someone Else Is Delivering Your Ballot
Residents may arrange for another person to drop off their ballot. However, Northaven staff, including Alex, cannot take responsibility for delivering residents’ ballots. Please keep this in mind when making your plans.
