At Northaven, we believe that community doesn’t just happen inside our walls—it thrives in the shared spaces where residents, neighbors, and nature come together. One such space that has quietly blossomed into a cherished corner of our campus is the East40 Garden.

Lovingly nurtured by our residents, the East40 has grown into more than just a garden. It’s a labor of love, a gathering place, and a living example of what care, consistency, and community spirit can create. With vibrant flowers and shaded pathways, the garden has become a destination for daily visits, spontaneous conversations, and moments of peace and pride.
This past Friday, the garden came alive with even more energy during our Brass Quintet Concert featuring High Class Brass—Northaven’s favorite ensemble. Residents and guests enjoyed refreshing mocktails, great music, and even better company as they soaked in the summer sun and the joy of being together.
Whether people came to listen to the concert, explore the garden, or raise a glass with a neighbor, the event was a true celebration of summer, community, and the beauty of shared spaces.

The East40 continues to remind us that when residents take the lead, beautiful things grow. We’re grateful for everyone who helped bring this event to life—and especially to those who continue to tend this space with such heart.
