The Nook: Workforce Housing

​The Nook, a workforce housing project, is a key component of the intergenerational housing complex being built at Northaven. Scheduled for completion and move-in beginning in February 2025, The Nook will enhance the sense of community for both senior residents and its own residents.

 

This innovative project fosters connection and mutual support across generations, creating a vibrant and inclusive living environment.

1. Facility Enhancements

We are committed to maintaining and improving our facilities to better serve our residents. Your donations will support:
 

• Accessibility upgrades, including the installation of a new security key fob system for our Assisted Living building.

• Renovations to update our HVAC and electrical systems, ensuring reliable cooling during increasingly hot summer days to help prevent heat stroke and dehydration.
   

• Energy-efficient systems that reduce costs and promote sustainability.
   

2. Resident Assistance Fund
Many residents face unexpected financial challenges that make it difficult to cover rent, medical expenses, or daily needs. This fund ensures that no resident has to worry about losing their home or access to essential care.
 

3. Expanded Wellness Programs
